Diagnosis of chytridiomycosis in amphibians by hystological examination

Abstract

Chytridiomycosis is fatal disease of post-metamorphic frogs and can be carried by healthy tadpoles.  Here we describe methods for preparing and interpreting histologic sections from adults and tadpoles for the diagnosis of chytridiomycosis.
