Abstract
A study of the bird fauna of Sri Venkateshwara Wildlife Sanctuary, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh revealed a total of 178 species. The study was conducted over three years in different forest types such as wooden forests, dry deciduous forests, wet lands, open scrub jungle and adjoining agricultural fields.
