Diploscapter coronata (Cobb, 1893) infestation in captive snakes

Published 2002-12-21

Abstract

Cutaneous nodules were notices on the body of captive snakes.  The contents of the nodules were necrotic and on microscopic examination revealed the presence of mites, their developmental stages and a myriad of free living nematode Diploscapter coronata and their eggs and larvae.
