Abstract
Based on the surveys undertaken by the Southern Regional Station, Zoological Survey of India and from earlier reports from Anamalai, Nelliampathi, Parambikulam WLS and Cardamom hills, a comprehensive list of the fish fauna of the Anamalai hill ranges is provided here. It comprises of 88 species including some new species described recently and sesveral new records. A note on endemicity and species diversity is provided.
