Systematic account on 19 species of scorpions (Arachnida) uinder eight genera and three families from Kerala, mainly from the Western Ghats is provided. Two speices, namely,. Mesobuthus hendersoni (Pocock) and Heterometrus (Chersonesometrus) barberi (Pocock) are reported for the first time from Kerala.
